Devotional Scripture: Joshua 1: 6-7 and 9
Theme: Potential
Uncommon Key: Don’t DWELL on the past, but don’t be afraid to examine it either. Looking back is often the best way to shine a light on the path ahead.
Today, take time to review your past and use it as a point of reference. However, don’t use it to make yourself a wall. You can be smarter, without becoming hardened. I know it is hard to be accountable, but it’s even harder when you repeat silly mistakes. Yes, we all do it to some degree. Life is about the journey. Don’t let your past, turn you into someone or something that lacks. You can improve and so can others.
I’m always improving and so can you. Don’t let others’ expectations change you into something you are not. YOU ARE MORE THAN ENOUGH and if people want to look at your past as a blueprint of your future, you don’t have to prove to them anything. You can always redesign, rebuild, and reclaim. Jesus died so that you can have those opportunities.
