Bee Terrific

Primary Abilities: The Core of the Hero

Every character in the Bee Terrific Media Roleplaying Game is defined by seven core traits — the FASERIP abilities — that form the backbone of action, power, and personality. These stats are the same whether you’re a werewolf necromancer, a divine familiar, or a kinetic techno-angel with a flaming sketchpad.

These traits are: we will dive into these in more detail next chapter

  • Fighting – Your close-combat skill and ability to hold your own in melee
  • Agility – Reflexes, coordination, speed, and finesse
  • Strength – Raw physical power and lifting capability
  • Endurance – Stamina, toughness, and physical resistance
  • Reason – Logic, learning, and scientific knowledge
  • Intuition – Awareness, instinct, perception
  • Psyche – Willpower, mental fortitude, and spiritual resolve

Each of these abilities is assigned a Rank, which tells you how good your character is in that area. Ranks have both a descriptive name (like Good or Amazing) and a Rank Number, which is used during gameplay for things like action resolution, damage, and resistance.

Here’s the official Rank Chart you’ll use during play:

Most starting characters will fall between Typical and Amazing in their abilities. Cosmic-level characters, divine forces, or universal constants (such as the archangels, primordial forces, or the origin-level beings in your lore) may exist at Shift Z or higher — but these ranks are rare and reserved for campaign-defining encounters.

For example:

  • A mage like April, who manipulates time, might have Unearthly Psyche to resist paradox.
  • A monster like Camille, in full werewolf form, might have Monstrous Strength and Remarkable Endurance.
  • A robot like Yao from SportsBrawl may have Incredible Reason but only Typical Psyche due to artificial consciousness.

In the next section, we’ll look at each primary ability one by one — how it works, when to use it, and how to interpret it for your magical hero.
