With terror gripping her heart, Kayla turned to the very pages that had led her to this dark path. The incantation had a counterspell—a means to banish The Watcher. But it required the ultimate sacrifice: in exchange for her powers, she must offer her own life.
In a moment of clarity, Kayla gathered her courage, summoning the last of her strength to recite the counterspell. As the incantation echoed into the night, a storm of shadows engulfed her, howling with rage as The Watcher recoiled. Light broke through the darkness, blinding and pure, and with a final scream, The Watcher was consumed by its own abyss.
In the aftermath, Kayla lay on the ground, the remnants of a powerful energy cascading around her. Ashford Hollow slowly began to revive, but Kayla’s spirit was tethered to the earth for eternity, a guardian against the powers of the damned.
