I’m making Pack Matters because I love comics and I wanted to start my third comic book series. Pack Matters is actually a novel idea I had for awhile, but I didn’t develop it over time due to Angel Protocol, Favor of Athena, and Blue Steel. 

Pack Matters is loosely inspired by my family.  The plot is similar to Saving Private Ryan. The characters are loosely based on my siblings from my dad side and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The setting is similar to Darkstalkers, horror based races. 

The magic system I’m using is inspired by Deadman Wonderland, where characters will weaponize their blood into monster based suits of armor. 

I wanted to try writing a horror type story, that still feels like a superhero/fantasy adventure.
