WHAT IS A TABLE READ?

Table reads are a crucial part of anything you read, watch, or listen to. They are organized readings of the script that is read out loud.

They help with the script-writing process and give writers a chance to make improvements to the script. The reading takes place at the end of pre-production, before shooting begins.

WHY ARE TABLE READS IMPORTANT?

  1. Inspire rewrites
  2. Help actors and actresses hear their character out loud
  3. Identify problem areas.

HOW AM I USING THESE PODCASTS?

I will use voice over artist volunteers and I will be using the Table Read App to provide artificial voices. Once properly funded, we can hire voice over artists to voice characters during production.

Right now, I have table reads of my action-comedy series, Mustard Seed. I will be adding table reads from my Favor of Athena cast.
