Vase is a graphite still-life drawing study from my early drawing classes in 2009.
This piece comes from my old DeviantArt archive and is part of my Sketchbook / DeviantArt series, where I revisit older artwork and share the studies that helped build my artistic foundation.
Before creating fantasy stories and supernatural superhero adventures, I spent a lot of time practicing the fundamentals through still-life drawings like this one. These exercises helped develop my understanding of form, shading, and composition.
