INT. MICHELLE’S HOUSE – DAY
MICHELLE is a tall, pale, woman with straight red hair.
Strong shoulders, fit. She is one the phone. Microwave BEEPS
as she takes out popcorn. Phone RINGS.
MICHELLE
Come on, I know you’re home.
INT. NOELLE’S HOUSE – DAY
NOELLE is short, tanned, woman with curly black hair. Petite
body, but not fit, soft all around. Her phone RINGS multiple
times. She stirs frantically trying to grab the phone from
her bed.
NOELLE
This better be important or I’m
going to shoot whoever it is.
INT. MICHELLE’S HOUSE – DAY
Michelle walks with the phone on her shoulders as she eats
popcorn. Her house is neat and clean. She is wearing casual
attire, jeans and designer shirt.
MICHELLE
Noe? It’s about time, what were you
doing?
NOELLE (O.S.)
Michelle? Why are you calling my
house phone? Do you know what time
it is?
MICHELLE
Time for my baby sister to get up.
It’s the middle of the afternoon.
INT. NOELLE HOUSE – DAY
Noelle gets out of bed. Her room is messy.
NOELLE
If you called for that reason, mom
and dad are going to have an only
child.

sister. Listen I need a favor.
INT. MICHELLE’S HOUSE/INT. NOELLE’S HOUSE – SPLIT SCREEN –
DAY
Noelle walks downstairs. Loud VOICES from her neighbors can
be heard arguing over television channels. Michelle sits in
her living room with a blue/white theme.
NOELLE
This better be good.
MICHELLE
Oh, it is! I want you to be my Maid
of Honor. BRIAN proposed!
INT. NOELLE’S KITCHEN – DAY
Noelle stops in her tracks. Her kitchen the complete opposite
of her sisters. A look of worry on her face.
NOELLE
You’re not serious, are you?
INT. MICHELLE’S HOUSE – DAY
Michelle sitting down with concern on her face.
MICHELLE
Of course, I’m serious. I thought
you would be happy.
NOELLE (O.S.)
Come on Michelle, you know he’s not
good for you.
MICHELLE
You never gave Brian a chance.
NOELLE (O.S.)
Because you met him on the day he
got out of jail. He’s a thief,
Michelle.
MICHELLE
And he served his time. He’s been
nothing but good to me.

Noelle is drinking an opened beer. Her face full of
frustration.
NOELLE
I can’t believe a prosecutor would
even date someone like that. You
know dad wants me to shoot him. I
don’t understand how someone so
smart can be so clueless.
MICHELLE (O.S.)
Everyone deserves a second chance,

NOELLE
This isn’t Sunday School sis.
Didn’t you tell me he took your
bank card?
MICHELLE (O.S.)
To buy me a new car.
NOELLE
WITH YOUR MONEY!
Noelle stands as if Michelle is standing in front of her.
INT. MICHELLE’S HOUSE
Michelle gives a puzzled look.
MICHELLE
So, does this mean you won’t do it?
She hears the phone DISCONNECTS.
MICHELLE (CONT’D)
I guess not.
