A Measure of Perception, Awareness, and Gut Instinct
Definition
Intuition reflects a character’s ability to sense their surroundings, notice details, and make snap judgments. It governs awareness of danger, initiative in combat, hunches, and the ability to detect hidden threats or opportunities. Intuition also contributes to the character’s Karma pool.

Shift-0 (Sh-0)
The character is completely unaware of their surroundings. They are incapable of reacting to stimuli or noticing anything unless directly addressed.
Example: Unconscious person, unresponsive coma patient.
Feeble (FB)
Severely limited awareness. Struggles to notice obvious details and reacts very slowly to environmental changes.
Example: Distracted child, heavily medicated or intoxicated adult.
Poor (PR)
Below average situational awareness. May overlook cues or miss signs of danger until it’s too late.
Example: Sleep-deprived worker, disinterested bystander.
Typical (TY)
Normal perception and response time. The character notices common details and can react to events with average speed.
Example: Attentive adult, driver on a casual commute.
Good (GD)
Above average observation and reflexes. The character is alert and tuned into their environment, often spotting things others miss.
Example: Hunter, security guard, amateur detective.
Excellent (EX)
Professional-level perception. Trained to detect subtle signs and anticipate action. Often the first to react in dynamic situations.
Example: Police detective, private investigator, surveillance expert.
Remarkable (RM)
Highly observant and instinctual. Among the most perceptive individuals in a city or region. Can follow trails, pick up lies, and read a room instinctively.
Examples are a veteran tracker, a skilled interrogator, and a body language analyst.
Incredible (IN)
Among the most intuitive individuals in a large region or province. Possesses strong gut instincts and near-flawless threat detection.
Example: Seasoned wilderness guide, elite intelligence operative.
Amazing (AM)
Intuition that borders on precognition. Among the best on a continent at reading signs and anticipating behavior.
Example: Master scout, combat strategist, elite psychic-sensitive professional.
Monstrous (MN)
Nationally or globally recognized for their sixth sense. Capable of noticing the unnoticeable and reacting to danger before it strikes.
Example: Legendary hunter, revered master of awareness and prediction.
Unearthly (UN)
Perception is nearly supernatural. The character cannot be surprised, sees through most deception, and attains to danger across time and space. Only a few in the world possess such acute instinct.
Example: Mystical seer, master observer with near-omniscient awareness.
